Adobe Journey Optimizer

HI All,I am trying to get week derived from now() in AJO Advanced editor. There is no helper function for this in adobe documentation. Let me know if there is any other way to get this. ThanksExample -The date 2025-10-25 falls in ISO week number 43 of the year.AI Response-If you need dynamic week numbers in AJO:Webhook Option: Call an external service that returns the ISO week number for now().Custom Field Option: Precompute the week number in your data pipeline and pass it into AJO.Static Mapping Option: Use a lookup table inside AJO to map date ranges to week numbers.

I'm Currently working on API Triggered campaign with in AJO and migrating Adobe V7 Realtime message center campaigns to AJO, when I'm trying to replicate the below JavaScript logic from ACC to AJO Help me with any references or code snippets to transfer below ACC logic to AJO PQL Query logicLogic:<% var sections = rtEvent.ctx.complexVariables.sections;for each (var section in sections){if(section.sectionName.toString().toLowerCase() == "dealer information" && section.bucketName.toString().indexOf("DLR_") != -1){var dealerBucketName = section.bucketName.toString();var dealerSectionName = section.sectionName.toString().toLowerCase();}else if(section.sectionName.toString().toLowerCase() == "dealer information" && section.bucketName.toString().indexOf("DLR_") == -1){var dealerBucketName = '';}}%>Expected API JSON Payload:"context": {"eventinfo": {"sections": [{"sectionName": "Pressure","bucketName": "TPM_4","status": "GREEN"},{"sectionName": "Maintenance","bucket

I have created a Journey that updates the profile in the DEV sandbox. When in test mode, everything works fine. But then, when Published, the path that the journey takes is sometimes the correct one and other times the alternative error/timeout one. I am doing the same tests in test mode as when Published. Why this might happen? P:S: I am able to see the events in the profile while published

I’m exploring ways to automate the email delivery summary in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). The goal is to pull delivery metrics (sent, delivered, bounced, failed) and store the details for further analysis. Any examples or best practices for automating this process via scripts or Adobe I/O integrations?

Do we have Send Time Optimization (STO) in AJO under Campaigns ? if yes, is there a criteria only after which its enabled in the UI ?

Hi Experience League Community,I’m encountering an error while trying to create a WhatsApp API credential in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). The error message I receive is:“Error fetching business accounts. Either the API token or the business account ID is not associated with the WhatsApp account.”Here’s what I’ve tried so far:Verified that my API token is valid and has the required permissions.Double-checked the business account ID to ensure it matches my WhatsApp Business Account.Confirmed that my WhatsApp Business Account is fully set up and approved in Facebook Business Manager.Made sure my user/app has admin access to the WhatsApp Business Account.Despite these steps, I’m still seeing the error. Has anyone faced this issue before, or does anyone know what could be causing it? Are there any additional troubleshooting steps I should try, or specific settings in Facebook Business Manager or AJO that I might be missing?Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!Thank you

Hi something very odd going on. If i send a journey email communication i can see the outbound email as sent within the events on the profile lookup. If I send a campaign, the emails send but do not appear on the profile event tab. if i then run sql against the AJO tables, specifically the ajo feedback table and look into the identitymap ( i do the search by using the customer email address), for the journeys there are namespace entries in the map, but not for campaigns. and both are using the same namespace IDs for the sends has anyone come across this before?

Hello all, Does AJO one click opt-out link click counts towards the OOTB Click/CTR  metrics ?

help me how to define an mirror page url function with ajo api triggered marketing email templates, using below reference<% if ( document.mode != 'mirror' && document.mode != 'forward' ) { %><p align=center><font style="font-family: Verdana, Arial; font-size: 10px">If you are unable to view this message correctly, <a href="<%@ include view='MirrorPageUrl' %>" _label="Mirror Page" _type="mirrorPage">click here</a></font></p><% } %>

Hi Everyone, I am working on push configuration in AJO.I have enabled AJO profile dataset (profile enabled), AJO event dataset (profile enabled), Analytics dataset (not profile enabled) and other checkbox also enabled in datastream. But I am seeing in assurance session that AJO is not enabled. App data is flowing in Analytics but its not getting recorded in AEP dataset. Can any suggest, what's causing issue.

I am facing some error when adding contextual field in function while trying to do some personalization in email with in a journey. Any idea on what could be the resolution for this ?

Hi Team,We’re using a custom action in the journey to trigger an HTTP call to a downstream API service, which transfers journey data to a third-party system.I’ve ensured that all journey data is unique, with no duplicates on our end. However, upon reviewing the data in the third-party system, we’ve noticed a small number of duplicates that 18 duplicate records (entire record remain the same) out of approximately 40,000. It’s been difficult to identify the root cause or determine whether this behavior occurs from the nature of the custom action itself.Could you please help investigate or provide any insights into what might be causing this issue? Thanks,

Hi Adobe Team & Community, I'd like to know if there's a successful use case on all the data points and potential variables to consider in building buying groups in AJO B2B. How this may have been mapped out in a brief would be ideal. Specially, what are the data points to consider across all scenarios when combining the individual components for Buying Groups:                                                                                                                                  Solution Interest: The specific product, service, or group of products/services that the buying group is considering purchasing.Account Audience: A targe

I'm working on AJO API Triggered Campaigns, well I'm trying to write a logic populate the personalization values from API JSON Payload on a HTML Template using below logic and json paylaod!Question: help me how to define and populate the value for "name"  form below json payload at each iterated individual array level for an example if countProducts = 1 then i want to print the value of attribute (name) at array level[1] with in the html template in this case the level[1] name value = "Super Socks"AJO logic:{% let countProducts = count(context.products) %}{{#each context.products}}{%#if countProducts = "0"or countProducts = "null"%} <p>You have no products to display.</p>{%else%}  <li>Product: {{this.name}}</li>  {%/if%}{{/each}}{%#if (toString(countProducts) = "3" )%} <li>Product: {{context.products.name}}</li>{%else%}  <p>You have no products to display.</p>{%/if%}Results:JSON:{  "c

Hi AJO experts! We have the following problem: we are using events to trigger customers into an audience. Then, we are creating journeys to send email containing links to a landing page where the user can submmit comments. We plan to capture those comments, and each email must correspond to one unique comment submissionThe issue is that we need to use this data to configure a parameter in the URL of our landing page so that, when the user submits a comment, we can send this information back to our environment as a token. Is it possible? I see two potential solutions1) Use a journey to update the profile with this information and the use audiences as triggers in the journeys.2) Use events as triggers so I can use the data to personalize and create the journey with a wait activity until its time to send the journey. Is Adobe planning to allow personalization using information from events?

When deploying an email campaign, does AJO exclude any profile that has choice value = n by default? Or does the user need to specify that in the audience criteria? For example... if I want to send an email to anyone that is opted in and who is in the state of California, do I need to specify the opt in requirement in the audience? Or will AJO exclude opt outs (choice value = N) by default?

Hi Guys, I have opted out using the one-click-unsubscribe feature in AJO and the 'consents.marketing.email.val' is updated as n.Post that I am not able to send any emails to the user with the value = n.Is there a way we can change the value back to 'y' or reset so that the user can start receiving emails again?

Which specific method to manually render such a campaign?https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/edge/adobe-journey-optimizer/in-app-message/api-reference/

Hello, I have created a Test API triggered campaign with content experiment (3 Emails, A/B/C) and tried to trigger it from Postman but getting error 422 unprocessable entity. Please check the screenshot. Can we run content experimentation using a API triggered campaign or it is just for scheduled marketing campaigns ?

Dear friends, while designing the content through below content blocks, can I lock the HTML content block like other content block?  HTML content block should be locked after I put required code in the HTML block. It should be locked like below not like below Is there any code please let us know. RegardsSatya

Does Adobe have a recommended approach for implementing custom header injection in AJO to support BCC capture, delivery log enrichment, and engagement tracking?

We are integrating an external push notification system with AJO using Custom Actions. The external system has a strict API rate limit of 2,500 requests per second. As per Adobe’s documentation, when throttling is configured, any additional requests beyond the set limit are queued for up to 6 hours. We would like to get clarification on how this throttling and queuing behavior works in a multi-journey scenario. Specifically, if multiple journeys are using the same custom action and endpoint simultaneously, we need to understand whether the throttling limit is applied per journey or shared across the endpoint. Additionally, if multiple journeys exceed the limit at the same time, how are requests queued and processed, and what happens if the combined queued volume exceeds the 6-hour processing window.

Hi all, I'm using a profile cap condition inside a Journey to limit a certain number of profiles to be targeted by a subsequent email action. I've seen that it is not always consistent, and on ocasions it fails to reach the profile limit set. ie: Journey triggered by an event (approx 1M profiles entered), profile cap condition of 760k profiles. However, only 614k advanced to next action, and the rest were discarded. Any advice on why this happens? how to avoid it? any recommendations? Attached is a screenshot for reference.@Mayank_Gandhi @SatheeskannaK

hello everyone,  I have created a unitary event with the following system managed schema - AJO Email Tracking Experience Event Schema with having the following condition -  Here i have my journey id from another journey which i have got the email and clicked on the CTA link. post publishing the event journey and i see inside my profile i have the interaction activity captured as well.  and also does events have draft & published status as well? because i don't see any from my end when created and directly using them in journey as well.

I’m trying to keep the entire <head> section within a Content Fragment, so I created a dedicated CF and included it in the content template. However, after saving and reopening, the CF is automatically moved from the <head> tag to the <body> tag.Before save,<!DOCTYPE html> <html data-qb-installed="true"> <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> {{fragment id='ajo:ce84ac85-7f5b-4385-84cf-f3c850da8140' mode='inline'}} <header></header> <div>test</div> </body> </html> When I reopen the same,<!DOCTYPE html> <html data-qb-installed="true"> <head> <meta charset="utf-8" /> </head> <body class="is-html-mode" contenteditable="true"> {{fragment id='ajo:ce84ac85-7f5b-4385-84cf-f3c850da8140' mode='inline'}} <header></header> <div>test</div> </body> </html> The inserted Content Fragmen
