AJO campaigns not writing to the identity map

Hi

something very odd going on. If i send a journey email communication i can see the outbound email as sent within the events on the profile lookup.

If I send a campaign, the emails send but do not appear on the profile event tab.

if i then run sql against the AJO tables, specifically the ajo feedback table and look into the identitymap ( i do the search by using the customer email address), for the journeys there are namespace entries in the map, but not for campaigns.

and both are using the same namespace IDs for the sends

has anyone come across this before?

Hi, so an update to this. I created the primary namespace as , lets say IdentityId

what i've seen is that in AJO it writes the namespace in the identitygraph for the AJO record as:

for marketing campaigns: IdentityId

for AJO journeys : identityid

I need to verify this with Adobe via a ticket, but if true thats a big problem and I would think a bug. Need to keep on this and see where it goes (I'm hoping I'm incorrect)

@marc_stowe_za  Possible cause can be If your campaign action is using an event schema that’s missing the identity mapping to the correct Profile identity, you’ll see the raw event in Data Lake but not linked to the stitched profile (so it won’t surface on profile lookup). Also validate namespace.
