Adobe Experience Platform

I have some piece of information which need to be attached to/present in both Profile and its corresponding transactional events.Shall I create a custom Field Group or create a custom XDM Schema and a corresponding custom XDM Class? I dont want to use a mapping table and establish a relationship between third entity (which holds common info) and other two entities (Profile and Event) Any best practice from Adobe to cater to above use case and comparison, use cases for custom Class vs custom Field Group?Thanks!

In terms of how many files limit max can be stored or what's the max storage size ( in GB) it can handle ? 2. Hi all,  i have configured a source connection with a catalog connector (Microsoft) the dataflow ran and the data came in my dataset, but i see no profiles created.  I have enabled both schema and dataset for profile and choosed four identity field, however none of them is a primary identity. Can this be the main cause of not retrieving the profiles in the profile section?? Or there is some time to wait before see profiles ingested in RTCP? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I am confused about the concept of Revision after publishing the library in production. I have a issue in our case, where I was given a already implemented launch rules, I found a rule firing but it is not there in Launch and I finally found it is there in Upstream resources in production and it is in live. I'm not sure , How disable or delete the rule as it is not there in other rules and it is in 16 th revision.Please let me know , how the the rule can be removed from upstream source.

Hi all, I have tried to deactivate the two cookies TEST_AMCV_COOKIE_WRITE and TEST_AMCV_COOKIE in the Tag Manager (Lauch), but found nothing. Hence the following question:Is it possible to disable the two cookies or is it possible to wait for the user consent before I set these two cookies? If I understand correctly, the two cookies are only used to check whether cookies are accepted or not. Thanks and best regards,Peer

Hi there, I've set up a http api source which feeds data into a dataset. I've tried sending a sample payload via POSTMAN, and I keep getting this error in the dataset UI: The transformed message is empty. Hi,  We have a requirement where in Child company data needs to be shared with Parent company in AEP. Approach - By creating two new sandboxes, would this be possible (I feel it's unlikely) or suggestion is to create brand level Schema within same sandbox and go from there ?  or what is the best way to deal when we have 2 or more brands under same Org.   Thank you Vikram

Hi,I'm trying to figure out how consent is passed from Mobile Core SDK (latest AEPCore version), with the Edge Consent being configured in Data Collection as well.From the Mobile app, I'm performing an updateConsent call with setting the marketing options on the generic level:["collect": ["val": "y"], "marketing": ["preferred": "email","any":["val": "y"],"email":["val": "y"],"push":["val": "y"]]] In AEP however, I see these consents specifically being added to the ECID identity:consents.idSpecific.ECID.xxxxxxxxx.collect.val = yconsents.idSpecific.ECID.xxxxxxxxx.marketing.email.val = y... So I'm wondering if I'm missing something in the setup?Anyone experience with this?

Can I populate a Data Element with the value from an eVar? I am trying to access the value of an eVar in the custom code for a rule I have created, hence why I am assigning it to a Data Element.Is it possible to assign an eVar to a Data Element? For example MyDataElement = evar24Thanks!

Hi, We have ingested contact profiles with email address as the primary identifier. We also have Adobe Analytics data streaming into our AEP environment. For some of the profiles that have been registered using their email address on our website, we notice that the Adobe Analytics data is not stitched together with the email address from the backend. This makes the email address and Adobe analytics visitor data as two different profiles in AEP. Can someone explain why the event data from Adobe Analytics did not get stitched to the corresponding email address even after the user registration occurred on our website? ThanksSharmila

Hello, We are trying to share an experience with user while he logsin to the website.However, we tried testing with test profiles and next day if we login with new browser (new ECID) it takes around 5-10 mins for the experience we created in adobe target to reflect.This is not a qualification issue, as profile is already qualified for the segment and is present as existing profiles for that segment.Is there any documentation from Adobe supporting the fact that it sometimes it takes new ECID to stitch with profile_ID even though it works on real time

all the attributes mapped correctly but while uploading data into dataset it shows some error status shows as failed.But it's not getting error while uploading 5 or few records into the data set.What going to be reason for it?Please have a look on attached file.

I have a simple page I built to do some testing with collecting data via the Edge network using Alloy.js. The ECID seems to be getting set on the page correctly but when I look into the datasets, the identityMap field doesn't seem to contain the ECID. I also don't see the ECID or the identityMap field anywhere in the HTTP request. It's my understanding that the ECID should autopopulate into identityMap. Have I missed a configuration step or is there possibly some other common reason why ECID is not being passed in? What am I missing?
