Adobe Experience Platform

Hey guys,I am trying to udpate adobe launch rules using launchpy module in python. I can successfully update it but whenever I am opening the rule, a message pops up stating that "Your unsaved changes will be lost. Are you sure you would like to leave this page?"I have updated the rule using api and even if I manually save it to library and check again, I am getting the same message. Can you help in resolving it? Thank You!

Hi Team, We were planning to bring Demandbase data into CDP.. so firstly, is this a good approach to create a direct connection of Demandbase to CDP? How will that be planned for profile dataset and profile stitching with other first party data sources? Currently we have a Adobe Analytics as a source set up to CDP and eVar is tagged to bring Demandbase data whenever there is an activity on our company web page. If we can proceed with direct connection of Demandbase to CDP - is there is way we can set up source connector for Demandbase to CDP? It doesn't seem to be present in catalog. Please suggest.

Hi Team, I am new to RTCDP and trying to understand:- Can we modify an audience after activating to a destination? Will the system allow this operation? If so, what will be the implications on campaigns using the audiences? I think, I could do it in a dev setup, but looking for situations once it is in prod.- Is there a way to deactivate or archive an audience, instead of deleting it? Did not find relevant material on this in the documentation, kindly help me understand and also provide links to the right content, if there is any. Not sure if I missing anything here. Regards,Rohit

Hi all,  I have create an audience composition in AEP and I've enriched it with some data attributes from a lookup table. The new audience is called 'Save audience' which I'd want to use in AJO. However, the count of the new audience created from audience composition doesn't seem to have updated. Is there a delay in the time it takes for the count to update or there usually isn't a count shown for these audiences? Thanks

Hello,Looking for some support on whether it is possible to export the Audience Name in the records that would be sent to Kinesis via destination export in AEP. I understand you can add the Audience Name as part of the filename, but for this use case, we are looking to have the Audience Name in the actual file itself. Thank you,David

Is there a way to include the audience/segment ID and/or Name from which the profile has been activated within the data activated to a Kinesis Destination.  I know segment membership is included in the output but this will include any segments for which the profile qualifies rather than specifically the segment which has been selected to be included in the destination stream.

In https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/resources/upgrading-to-aep/current-sdk-versions#react-nativeIt says that:Adobe Experience Platform Mobile SDK plugins for React Native are compatible only with Android and iOS — Objective-C libraries, at this time. Does it mean that AEP iOS - Swift is NOT compatible with a react native app and do not waste time trying it?Our react native app uses AppDelegate.swift? How would you add AEP iOS? Swift? ObjC? Both?

HI Adobe community, I'm trying to remove the text on the page using replace function but its not working when the page loads any taughts how can i Modify text on the page for a specific element using launch  Thanks in advance

Dear Community, Have anybody connected 'Google Ads' BETA Source Connector with AEP? Have given the required credentials to connect, however the tables are not available for the preview making us not to proceed to the next step. Any inputs would be helpful, thanks. Thank You, Pratheep Arun Raj B (Arun) | NextRow Digital | Terryn Winter Analytics

Hi team, How can we get the data collection of " click events" data (and, if it's possible, also campaign ID and campaign name) from Google and Meta destinations and ingest logs in AEP.

Hi, @arpan-garg @kumar29917170hcyp @abhinavbalooni @ssj @_manoj_kumar_ @jantzen_b   We have created a schema in which we have an object array inside that attributes and we want  fetch those  records from the dataset and insert into new dataset remember we have to use struct can u just give a sample query or guide me how to perform this

I was trying to find what the default name of the data layer object the XDM creates? Thanks

How would you approach creating, differentiate test profiles in AEP?

Hi there, Wondering if there's programmatic solution/recommendation/query out there to remove stitched identities?  In the picture below:- Red = ECID- Green = CRM ID The issue is customer logging into multiple accounts with the same ECID, multiple accounts are mapped stitched together into 1 profile. Where in this case, we want to keep the 3 profiles (green) separate. So I want a programmatic way to identify the red ECID, then send it over to data Lifecycle API to delete. Thanks.

Hi All, For a use case, I want to setup Adobe Campaign SFTP with SSH keys based destination connector in AEP to send bulk profiles from AEP to Adobe campaign. This requires SSH keys generation for the connection. Can anyone please recommend how to generate public and private SSH keys for Adobe campaign- AEP destination connection. Any documentation , link will be helpful.  Thanks, Sneha

Hi everyone,  Can someone suggest what is the best way for tracking 2 subdomains in Adobe Analytics using AEP web SDK? I have two domains, www.xyz.com and blog.xyz.com. Are the below items considered good practice?1. I want to use separate launch containers for each domain.(as I have multiple third party marketing pixels for each domain. Maintaining 100s of rules might be difficult)2. I have a schema created where I have added Experience event, commerce event and Adobe Analytics experience event field group (as I want to send data to both AA and AEP). Is it okay to use the same schema for both www.xyz.com and blog.xyz.com? 3. If someone is navigating from www.xyz.com to blog.xyz.com, will Adobe differentiate them as two separate visitors? I am assuming it will not, as the cookie will be set on ".xyz.com" domain.4. Do I need to create two separate data streams? or having one data stream will suffice?

Hi, I have a data layer where data is pushed when an event occurs. Normally, I use Direct Call with the name of the event to fire the rule. However, I would like to have several event-names. I know that it's possible to use several Direct Call's, however, I think it becomes too messy for my purposes here and therefore want to use custom code. In another forum, I was adviced to use _satellite.track('yourstringgoeshere') in custom code. Although, I am not able to fire the rule by doing this. I am passing the event name as 'yourstringgoeshere'. Is this the right way to do it? Is there anything else I need to do? Note: Under actions I am using Set Variables and Send Beacon with s.tl(). My previous question was posted here: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-platform/writing-direct-call-function-as-custom-code-in-adobe-launch-rule/m-p/558486#M1534  Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance! 🙂

No, We don't require AEP experts to be able to implement AEP Web SDK. But a good understanding of Adobe Launch (Tags), XDM & Datastream is needed to be able to map client-side data (and events) to XDM via Adobe Launch (Tags) using AEP Web SDK Extension

hiI'm trying to create Data element in Adobe Experience Platform Data collection but when I'm selecting XDM Object It showing An error occurred like " Failed to Load schema metadata. An unexpected server response was received" . Could you please help me figure out how to fix this error?

Has anyone started to use the prospect profile feature of Adobe RTCDP.  Interested to understand how folks have started to use the non-person entity to identity prospects within the Adobe RTCDP platform.

Hi All,I am new to AEP/RTCDP. I am looking for suggestions to export list of audiences available in the system to an excel/CSV (from the Browse tab of the Audiences under Customer section). I don't see any option to do this from the UI. Trying to understand if it is possible to achieve this. if so, kindly guide me with the steps. Thank You! Regards,Rohit

We recently implemented AEP Web SDK for our website, following all the necessary steps. However we've noticed a discrepancy in the "Visit" metric when comparing the analytics between AEP Web SDK and Client-side implementation. The difference is approximately 20%. It's important to mention that all other metrics are functioning correctly, with a discrepancy of less than 3-5% for other metrics.

Hi, We have implemented the getTimetoComplete plugin using Adobe extension custom code. s.usePlugins = true;s.doPlugins = function() {if(s && s.events && s.events.indexOf("event116") > -1) getTimeToComplete("start");if(s && s.events && s.events.indexOf("event2") > -1) s.eVar140 = getTimeToComplete("stop");}; The above code captures the value as 5 seconds, 10 seconds, etc as a multiple of 5. I would want the exact time in the report such as 3 seconds, 4 seconds, 6 seconds. How will I get it?

Hello All,I am trying to connect Google PubSub as a source connector in AEP.There are two requirements for this connection: 1. Project Id, 2. Credentials. Please help me from how and from where in GCP console, I can get the credential? In GCP console, I tried to create an API key but it did not work. Also tried using a service account key but that also did not worked.Kindly help please. Thanks & Regards,Joydeep

Hi Team,Control Groups feature is currently not available as a native functionality in AEP so we are looking for an alternate solution for it. Could you please suggest.
