Can we (and should we) set up Demandbase as a source connector to Adobe CDP?

Hi Team,

We were planning to bring Demandbase data into CDP.. so firstly, is this a good approach to create a direct connection of Demandbase to CDP? How will that be planned for profile dataset and profile stitching with other first party data sources? Currently we have a Adobe Analytics as a source set up to CDP and eVar is tagged to bring Demandbase data whenever there is an activity on our company web page.

If we can proceed with direct connection of Demandbase to CDP - is there is way we can set up source connector for Demandbase to CDP? It doesn't seem to be present in catalog. Please suggest.

Hi @mansibedi ,

A direct source connector for Demandbase is not available in AEP. As you have mentioned, you are already bringing the data from Demandbase to the AA report suite and using the AA source connector in AEP to onboard the data to AEP.

The dataset that is used for storing the AA and Demandbase data should be enabled for profile. In addition, create a Cross-Device ID namespace to stitch the First Party data with other data sources available in AEP.

Thanks!
