Utilizing Original Issue Entered By Field on Custom Task Form

Hi all - wondering if anyone has come across this before and/or can offer any guidance on. When a user submits an Issue and we go to convert that issue to a Task, I'm looking for a way to create a Calculated Field on a Form that shows the user that originally submitted the Issue. (The way our process is setup currently, when an Issue is converted to a Task, Workfront shows the "Entered By" under the Task Overview as the person that converted the Issue to the Task (instead of the user that submitted the original Issue, which is what we're really looking to show in this calculated field.) Would anyone know of a way to accomplish this? Appreciate any help/guidance you can provide! Matthew Amick

I haven't done this exact calculation myself but you'll need to point to the resolving issue, entered by name. I'm sure someone can give you the specific calculation to put in. - https://experience.workfront.com/s/article/Add-calculated-data-to-a-Custom-Form-1320685913#creating-... If you are creating a report you can easily pull the originator into a column - https://experience.workfront.com/s/article/Converting-Issues-926125756#viewing-original-issue-inform... Hope these help! Monique Evans Stanley Black & Decker, Inc.

Hi - for the calculated field, you want to put Converted Issue Originator.Name and that will get you what you'd like. :) Anthony Imgrund FCB
