Hi: This is not a customizable setting. You can flip a switch so that you can edit some of the custom attributes while a project is in the approval workflow. The reasoning behind locking a project from change assumes: You can't approve a moving target; It won't take long to get a project through the approval workflow; If I have a multi-step approval workflow, and I approve the project for $25K, then someone changes the project and its now $35K, well, my approval is no longer valid. Therefore, so that people know what they are approving, WorkFront locks the elements of the project that drive cost and schedule – which is essentially everything. I happen to agree with that philosophy. What had the same challenge and so what we did was optimize the approval workflow and expedite it. We still have some projects in the workflow that need changes mid-approval-workflow, but the number is greatly reduced. Not sure that helps Eric
