Timesheet - Set start day of week

I could use some help from the community with a new idea. I do not think it would be hard to implement and would give much needed flexibility depending on the business needs. The current timesheet start day is dependent on the locale in the browser settings. Our week starts on a Saturday, not Sunday or Monday. Why cant we have the ability to set the day of the week the timesheet view shows. I believe you can do this through the Timesheet Profile. I tried to test it, but I believe it won't reset properly until it's generated on that particular day. So I can't confirm. But it's worth a shot, or maybe a WF rep can confirm. Hi: You can set the start date of the week in the timesheet profile exactly as you say. Here is the problem – the screen displays the weeks as though they are all Sunday first. Therefore, for our Monday-first approach, we fill out Monday through Saturday on one screen, then have to flip to another screen to log time on Sunday. Look for that black arrow in a vertical bar to the right of the dates in the picture below. Let's click it. I changed timesheets to show something from the past – Note that the only box available on this screen is the Sunday box. You can't enter time for any other day, because it is a different timesheet/fiscal week. That is the problem with the screen – the screen assumes a Sunday-first week and does not change when you change the start date in the Timesheet profile. Thanks, Eric

And if your timesheet starts on Sunday and your week starts on Monday (ie Latin America), when you open an older timesheet only the Sunday is available on the first week and you have to go to week 2 to enter time. Here's a hot tip for those of you who want your timesheet screen to start on Monday and go through to Sunday on a single page: Change your primary browser language to English-UK. That's it! I know it sounds too simple, but it works. Y'all Yankees should really use proper English anyway....it might be good for you :) David Cornwell

My company's week also starts on Saturday and it's very annoying to have one day on the first week of the timecard display. I would very much like to see Workfront update this setting. Anna Dantzler dish
