Timesheet hours populate in projects?

When a user populates hours for tasks on their timesheet, are those hours then automatically reflected on task hours in the given projects?  Thank you

I have just tested this to make sure and they do automatically add the hours to a task from a time sheet. 

You don't even have to close it just adding the hours in will do the job. 

This also shows at task and project level.
