Delaying the appearance of a task in My Tasks

I have a Fixed Date task that is not due until May, 2026. Right now, the task has no predecessor, so it appears as Ready to Start in the My Tasks list for the user to whom it is assigned even though she cannot work on the task right now. I know that if I add a predecessor, that will effectively "hide" this task from her, but that runs the risk of not having this Fixed Date task appear when it needs to if the predecessors run late. So my question is this:

Is there a way in Workfront to delay this task's appearance in her work list until it's planned start date is reached without adding a predecessor to the task or changing the status of the project (for example, I don't want the project to be On Hold)?

Could you help her add a filter to only filter in tasks where the planned start date is whatever you want it to be? I always feel like a good generic rule of thumb is anything that is going to start within the next 2 weeks. So I might start with Planned Start Date less than $$TODAY+2w or something, and refine from there.

I did not know that was an option when creating a filter, but I will give it a try.
