Task assigned to 2 people

If I assign one task to 2 separate people, can either one of them close the task or do both have to close it?

Both are an option. The users can click mark as done(which closes the task out) or just done with my part and this will mark it complete for them but not close out the task for the others assigned.

Both, like Kellie says below, but note if one person closes it, it'll change to closed/complete for everyone assigned on the task. So it's recommended for them to use 'done with my part' for multi-user assignments.
