Specific messages for individual users on proof routing

Avatar

Hello! Anyone know if there is a way to set up a routing template where select users in the routing receive a specific message once they make a decision?

For example, let's say I use a routing template for packaging and I wanted user A to receive a message that said please "Please verify sku and vendor before finalizing your decision", no matter what decision they make. Is that doable?

Thanks!

I think if we took it one step further you could develop custom workflow templates with assignments and a custom message.  Instead of doing it on the fly you can apply the workflow template to the proof.

Looking in Proof at the Account Settings (under the decisions tab), there's a way to set a message that displays whenever you select a decision. However, since there's not a way to constrain it to any particular workflow, it would result on all your users seeing the message.

Do you take advantage of pre-made proofing workflows?  I believe that custom messages can be attributed to stages.

Not sure, I've made several custom workflows but I've never seen an option for a custom message.

In an existing workflow you can click the 3 dots next to a user in the workflow, next select message.  This allows you to message an individual user on a proofing workflow. Screenshot 2024-10-15 at 8.16.25 AM.png

You can add a custom message to a new stage

Oh yeah, I know about those. I was looking for something that's automated when the stage goes active. Sorry for the confusion!
