Hi Community,
Has anyone found a way of removing Resource Managers from Multiple projects? We have about 400 projects to update and the only way I can see of doing this is in-line editing which will be very time consuming.
Thanks
Matt

You should be able to do this with the pencil icon after you select multiple projects to edit.
There could be some nuances to the edit if you have multiple resource managers that are different across your projects. You may need to identify commonalities between the assigned resource managers and edit those that are the same together.

I don't quite understand why bulk editing wouldn't be the solution for this -- I would probably suggest putting in a ticket with Support about it.
Are all your projects only assigned one resource manager each? If so, you might be able to sort your list, and bulk edit them based on that resource manager. i.e. if 25 of the projects have John Smith as resource manager, bulk edit those ones?

Hi Kellie, @skyehansen
The issue does appear to be when multiple resource managers are across the projects. If they are all the same then the bulk editing works.
I can add new ones to the mix (but I don't want too!).
I'll sort them in order as you've suggested as they will save us a good amount of time.
Thanks
Matt
p.s. I'll try to mark both comments as correct, but not sure I can. I'll have to toss a coin!
