I think I may have gone down the rabbit hole and now nothing is making sense (or working!) for me....
Forgive me if this turns out to be a painfully easy fix.
Situation:
We have a single Group in Workfront, with 3 Teams. Team 1 is a collection of all employees and is used only for the Senior Leadership Team. Team 2 is the Learning Program Team and Team 3 is the Design Team.
I want to create a few different views for different teams/individuals.
I don't know how to create a View using Text Mode - I have seen a few solutions posted using this, but I'm not sure what I would need to change to make it work for me (ie. the fields that should be edited). If there is a breakdown of how to do this, explaining what parts of the text need to be changed to my information specifically, I would appreciate any resources.
1. I have a Queue status associated to some Projects because technically they are request Queues. When I try to filter this view to Project: Status is none of: There is no option to Select Queue. What am I missing here? (Image 1 Attached)
2. I want to create a view that lets me view my team's Projects. I want the view to include any Project that is assigned to my Team "Team 3". I want it to include any Project that has tasks assigned to either the Team "Team 3" or the individual who is ON that team, without having to specify each individual. Is that possible?
3. Is there a reason that the same options are popping up twice and can be selected twice? How can I fix this? And, is there a way I can control specifically what comes up in this (or any) box when searching? (Image 2 Attached)
4. Finally, what am I missing about Views and Filters? - Essentially what is the difference or the deciding factor between if something can just be built as a different view for different people, or if it needs to be a standard view with a specific Filter. I think this is an error on the larger team because we are drowning in various views/reports/filters and I want to simplify as much as I can for each team.

there's a lot going on here.
To address Q4, I'd like to first point you to this link:
So you can read up more about filters and views. A quick summary is at the top of each of the pages, so you can quickly see that you would make a filter in order to reduce the amount of information (number of rows or results), whereas a view is all about the columns (what information you're displaying about each row).
This leads me to your Q2: the moment you say "my team's projects", I know you're first talking about filters (you want to see less than the full complement of projects), and the type of info (view) you show about each project hasn't been clarified.
Your Q1 and 3 are going to probably be some sort of configuration issue on your back end. There seems to be a lot of custom status stuff going on which might lead to problems like Q3, but it would be difficult to say more without looking at your setup area and what specifically has happened in the status section (this is even without seeing whether or not there is a custom field someone created, that was also named "Status"). I'd advise your authorized service contact to open a support case to help you troubleshoot, if you cannot manage to get through this on your own.
