Fast Release timing vs Preview timing

The information available for Fast Release timing states that new features are released right after the Preview release of the features. What is the specific timing between Preview release and Fast Release?

We would like to enable Fast Release but would like to make sure there's enough overlap between Preview and Fast so we can review changes in Preview and notify our users of the changes before the Fast Release rollout.
