I’m excited to let you know a new look and feel with expanded benefits is coming to the Workfront Community on July 1st. You should see no interruption to your service, profile, or content. Community New Benefits: Upvoting comments, so the best answers are easier to find Nesting comments, so answers are better organized Easier to connect with other community members Simpler navigation A more intuitive experience overall We’re set to upgrade on July 1st, and will keep you up to date with anything you need to know. As part of the transition, thread-level subscriptions will be unavailable for the remainder of the year. For example : you can subscribe to the Global Forum and receive regular notifications, but you will not be able to subscribe to a specific thread in that forum. I know thread-level subscriptions are important, so we’re working on a plan to resume this functionality. In the meantime, you’ll still be able to subscribe at a higher level, like forums. I hope you’ll enjoy the new Community experience. I’m happy to respond to your questions about the transition in a post comments below. Thanks for all you do to keep the Workfront Community awesome. -Nate Bagley --- Workfront Community Manager - Work Smart, Work Happy Message me directly at:

Hi: Is WorkFront changing the underlying software tool? Thanks! Eric

Yes Eric, see below for TL;DR The long story is that last year we noticed the community was growing really quickly, and there were some things we wanted to improve. We started investigating a few different options and settled on a new company. As we were going through the sales process, the company we were interested in actually bought the company we're currently using. So it turns out that we would have made this transition regardless of whether or not we had initially started looking. The good news is that this new software company purchasing our current software will make the transition much easier. TL;DR The software we're using got purchased by another company that we really liked regardless. So we're upgrading. -Nate Bagley --- Workfront Community Manager - Work Smart, Work Happy Message me directly at:

Awesome, Nate: upvoting posts seems like a step in the right direction, and having the ability to mark a "solution" will be very helpful. I look forward to it! Regards, Doug

Hi Nate, I was notified that Workfront Pride would also be moving to the Community area. Do you know if this is part of the July 1 transition?

Great question, Mini. One of the reasons we're excited about this new software is that we're going to be making the Pride experience and the Community experience more seamless. They'll both be accessible in the Community, so you won't need multiple logins anymore. There will be a few changes to Pride to make it a little more meaningful and straightforward for those who participate with Sherry. You'll get more details soon! -Nate Bagley --- Workfront Community Manager - Work Smart, Work Happy Message me directly at:

I just found out about one more cool feature that will be available when our launch this new Community Software: @ Mentions and #Hashtags! So, if you want to tag someone in a comment in the Forum you'll be able to type @Person's Name, and the person you tag will get an email alert with a link to the post you tagged them in. Similarly (and this may not be available immediately when we launch, but it will be available soon) we will have the ability to create hashtags that automatically turn into hyperlinks. That means we can easily categorize posts by topic like #TextMode or #Agile or #ResourceManagement or #TimeCards. How freaking cool is that?! I'm REALLY excited about this... -Nate Bagley --- Workfront Community Manager - Work Smart, Work Happy Message me directly at:

Hi Nate, Not sure if it is the same forum software that Azuqua use to run their community, but theirs is awesomely intuitive. Looking forward to the new WF Community regardless. :) Cheers, David
