Change default hour type from Task Time to a user-defined default.
YES! This would be great or have a feature where the user must choose an hour type before logging time.
It should be possible to remove Task Time and Project Time completely. We use different types, and these two just confuse people...
Yes! I would like the ability to assign a default hour type for tasks in my templates so that users do not have to select an hour type when logging time.

It would be great if no value is automatically populated yet the field is required so that users are forced to select; otherwise, they cannot exit the object.
Same functionality should be applied in the timesheet area.
The ability to default and have the default value hold across timesheets would be awesome. We have users who forget to select the hours type since it seems like it would be set it and forget it. Example we have CapEx tasks and OpEx tasks on the same project. We need CapEx hours type for the CapEx tasks. Currently resets to OpEx.
This can be done via the user profile.
