Pull Users into Custom Forms

I would love to connect user names and the custom forms. That way when submitting a project, the requester can choose the users within a custom form and those users would be alerted that the request is submitted or project created.

This would be great. We would find it really useful if the requester could input stakeholders on the custom form which would be converted to the project stakeholders.

Awesome idea. It would be great to have the option to create Field of type (Person) with an option to select only 1 or many people. As Imogen said, being able to map these custom People fields to out of the box people fields during conversion would be great. In the long run, it would be great to be able to use these for routing in a Workflow.

100% agree, would be a GREAT feature to add a form field type of "People Picker" such that names can be chosen by the end user from a select list. Then when creating the field the admin can determine what group, team, or job role might populate the pick list. Ideall would support single or multi-select.

I have a use case now where we request a series of personnel to serve as contacts on a project when first created to aide with planning. right now the requester has to write this out long form where it is easy to fat finger something. Then the PM has to also add those people manually to the project.

Would love this feature as well. We should take advantage of information already in WF rather than having someone enter it in again. Capturing this in a text field will quickly lead to dirty data (yikes!). Agree to being able to add this field to a Custom form with filters (company, group, team, role)

I would say any of the stock request queue options should be able to be pulled into a custom form. Since many of our departments - don't like the stock request items (Dates, Requestor, Document etc) being at the top of the form - and would rather it live in a form.

100% Agree with those above, any OOTB data needing to be filled out on an object should be able to funnel into a custom form field.

We are building out our system for the first time and I really wish we had this particular functionality—I would love to see this get to the critical 45 vote threshold!
