Email Notifications when Projects are Submitted into Workfront with the Project Status of Planning

Description - Our team has many different project intake queues. Currently, Workfront sends project notifications when the project status is Current and not Planning.

Why is this feature important to you - Our team is constantly refreshing their intake queues to see if they have new work assigned.

How would you like the feature to work - This would be a huge time-saver. They would receive an email and a Teams message.

Current Behaviour - Refreshing and intake and I'm exploring Fusion to post a note to the Project Owners in the Update sections. Seems like such an over-kill for something so easy with just allowing Planning to generate an email

Hi Jen,

Are you referring to request queues that users submit requests into through the Requests tab? If so, we created a status of 'Queue' that equates to Current. Then anything submitted into the queue generates the needed email alerts. If I'm mis-reading, there are a couple other ways to sort of subvert the standard status functionality, depending on what you're trying to do overall.

Thanks for reaching out @KatherineLa.

Our team likes to triage requests that are submitted, so we prefer they start in the Planning status, but they are automatically assigned to certain people in our team. It would be awesome if this feature were enabled so the Project Owners were notified.
