Project Owner should automatically receive notifications of all task/status updates - no need to @mention them

Often we have people who use Workfront to post about progress or roadblocks for a task. They do not @mention the project owner, though. That means we miss out on a status update, and have had to add in a manual step every week for the PMO to spend time reviewing the "Updates" tab in all of our projects to see where we have potentially missed receiving an update.

The Project Owner should automatically be notified with the comment posted on one of their project tasks or issues. This would also be helpful when a user enters a comment on the Project > Updates page.

At the very least there should be a setting for project owners to get alerts on any communication on their projects. I'm truly surprised this hasn't been addressed in all the years I have been using Workfront. So many people complain about missing notifications because users forget to tag people. If the owner got notified they could see no one is tagged and make sure to tag in the pertinent users.

This is a huge issue for us when our requestors place a request (issue) that gets converted into a project. They see the "Converted to" column in their submitted requests and launch the project and post an update asking about their request in the Project Update level, but since no one is alerted it just gets overlooked. This results in angry clients thinking they are being ignored.

PLEASE add the ability to notify project owners of updates made on the project level of projects they own.

I swear Workfront did this when we first started using it, but today we received reports from our users that they had been submitting updates/comments and never hearing back from folks.  It now seems like Workfront just wont notify anyone if they're not tagged?  Is that true?
