Option to port over Request Updates to Project

When a request is converted to a project, it would be a great feature to be able to copy the updates optionally from the request to the project.

THIS! How is this the only post I can find on this issue. I have a user who can't access the Project Updates, and so he constantly uses the Issues Updates (which he can access), and unless I remember to check those, I never see it!
