Workfront Fusion Scenarios

Automatic reminder messages.  We set them to a frequency and a customized message is sent out each morning and it's saved 2-3 hours a day for a user to search hundreds of projects and send reminder notifications. Another one is reminders to the stakeholders that their feedback is due in X days and changing project status if they miss that deadline to pull it out of the queue.  This has saved 7-8 hours a week for the PM to search projects and chase requestors. 

• We have a newer brief review process with our creative teams and project managers that heavily relies on Fusion. 
  • We have Fusion sending updates to PM's in a project when a brief is not approved. When a brief is approved, we have Fusion remove the task that was assigned to to make updates to the brief. We also have Fusion auto filling in a few different fields.

• We have custom project numbers and activity (campaigns) numbers that are assigned to align to our naming convention (brief type, year, number) to be able to quickly identify project briefs and activity briefs. P241234, A24100
• We link project briefs to activity briefs. We have activity brief links auto populate after the PM supplies the activity number in the project. This allows the creatives to have a one stop shop to all the activities they need to refer to when building out assets for their project.
• We have daily, weekly and monthly tasks that auto complete at the end of business day for our resource management process which saves time from our traffic team managing the completion of these tasks.
• We are working on sending out a customized email to our users and non WF users for highlights about a new activity brief to remove copy and pasting efforts in an email template.

Hi all, I came across this post because we are considering Fusion (within Workfront) ourselves and are looking to evaluate cost vs benefits.

@kimberlyrea @kierstenkollins Your responses are vey helpful. Did you have a pretty good idea of the things Fusion could help you with prior to purchasing and implementing?

@whitneyhi1 were you looking at whether to purchase Fusion or not when you posted this, and did you? If so, how has your experience been so far?
