Re: Correctly Creating a Data Element - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 26-01-2021
@yuhuisg- Thank you for the additional Polyfill info!@Brian_Johnson_ - I appreciate your response! Before adding in the Polyfill, I was unable to get this rule to fire successfully. I set this up with an eVar which is returning the value "products" for all instances. I'm guessing the custom code might not be set up correctly. Here is what the current Launch rule looks like: var linkText = this.innerText;var resourceRow = this.closest("tr.pdp-resource-row");var resourceType = resourceRow.querySel...

Re: Capturing a quantity value after click - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 03-12-2020
@Brian_Johnson_Thank you for your response! I tried a few options but cannot get the eVar to collect the appropriate quantity values once the submit button (Add to BOM) is clicked. One thing I noticed is after a visitor clicks Add to BOM, the product quantity entered does not appear in the code in the quantity field box. (first image below) However, there is a notification near the top of the page that says quantity entered, along with the product number. (second image below) Could the CSS Selec...

Capturing a quantity value after click - Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection 02-12-2020
Hello,We have a feature on our website where visitors can add our products to their cart, with a specified quantity for each part. What I'm trying to do is capture the value entered after a visitor clicks the Add to BOM button. Here is a link to one of our product pages. I'm fairly new with Launch, and have been struggling on how to set up a rule. Any feedback/suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Re: Tracking Metrics by User ID - Dynamic Tag Management 17-09-2019
Sorry for all the questions! (I'm an analyst that has to take on implementation work as well)In regards to setting up the data element and page load rule, I have the following:1. Data ElementThe path name for the data element is account-name. and 2. Page Load RuleNext, the page load rule says to find the Account Name data element, and tie that into the Account Name evar.Do you know if this should work? Am I missing anything for either the data element or page load rule?

Re: Tracking Metrics by User ID - Dynamic Tag Management 17-09-2019
Hi Seth,Thank you for your reply!Yes, we are using Adobe Analytics. Do you know if that setup would work correctly? If I create a data element for each value, then assign that to an evar within a page load rule?

Tracking Metrics by User ID - Dynamic Tag Management 17-09-2019
Hello,While (still) in DTM, I'm trying to filter our metrics by the Account Name and Account Number associated with each visitor. After a visitor logs into their account, their Name and Number are listed at the top of the page. Is there a way to see page views, downloads, etc by each Account Name &/or Number? I could be very wrong, which is why I'm asking in the first place.. but I started by creating a data element for Account Name for the JS Object 'account-name'From there, I created a page lo...
