I'm trying to run a local test of the Dynamic Media Interactive Image component. I've successfully created an asset and set hotspots on it. However, when I try to preview this in the context of a page, it's failing. In the console, I see a JS error:If I click on http://localhost:4502/is/image/conf/global/settings/dam/dm/presets/viewer/Shoppable_Banner I see an errorIs there some other package I need to install in my local instance to get this? Thanks

I have a client who wants to be able to create hotspots on an image to highlight specific features of it. Dynamic Media seems like a good solution for that. However, they want multiple hotspot indicators (eg feature X has one icon, feature Y has another, etc). Also, they want the popup for the hotspot to have 2 parts - one that's consistent across all images/usages, and one that's specific to the image and use in the image. The first part seems like a good fit with experience fragments, but the ...

I've tried getting Launch working on a local web page, and wasn't able to. As soon as I had it hosted on a web server, it worked. However, localhost should technically work since it should follow the same structure as a regularly hosted web page. Are you certain that the locally hosted instance is the issue, and not perhaps with how the implementation is set up?

You will have to be really careful when you create clientlibs at component. Any clientlib which is already a part of your global clientlib, they you can just mention that clientlib as a dependency to your local component clientlib such that it doesnt reloads again ! So essentially, before including any js as part of a clientlib, make sure it is not part of any other !

Hi Joel TriemstraOption 1Using OSGI as a service can also be one of the way. Where you could write a logic to create dynamic links and can use then in JSP scripts.Link:- https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-link-rewrite.html (this link will help you to understand the above stated, but you need to modify the logic of OSGi as per your requirement).Option 2Use Sightlywe can store information in JCR nodes and then can use them in JSP using SightlyLink:- http://docs.adobe.com/con...

It's indeed possible to customize the component browser; however, there are no specifics out of the box hooks provided like for the asset finder.Component cards are rendered by the script /libs/cq/gui/components/authoring/componentbrowser/component/component.jsp. So if you want to change the rendering, you could overlay this file and provide your custom rendering. Also, the default styling of those cards are defined in /libs/cq/gui/components/siteadmin/admin/components/clientlibs/components/css/...

I was talking to our Touch UI expert. They recommended do not attempt to code a classic UI solution (it works in Classic UI) and use in Touch UI. As pointed out in this thread - it will not work. They said to look at the source code for image widget for touch ui dialog. This is how to perform this task in TOuch UI.

Where does "dialog-ready" come from, though? I don't see it here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/Events and all the references I find to it online are specific to AEM.

From stack trace sounds like an environment issue. Like you have setup active-active cluster instance AsyncIndexUpdate supposed to run on the leader instance of the sling toplogy but due to misconfiguration or product bug running on both the active instance. Please file an support ticket and attach logs from all the instance at the time of package installation. In short yes there are 2 concurrent thread operating on same node which are those two thread is not clear from stack trace & needs a con...

Hi amitn47551657 Murali89We have a similar requirement, where we might need to store millions of users in two aem publish instances. Could you please let us know what might be a way to go about this? Did you also create users in AEM ?We have similar requirement and will be really helpful if you could provide your response. Thanks

Both approach will help your need, Earlier method suppress this generated div tag & won't be able to edit the component anymore. Another one uses filter and is demonstrated at http://www.connectcon.ch/content/dam/cqcon/Pr%C3%A4sentation_Dominik_Suess.pdf
