Enabling Asset Insights for emails

I have a client who's interested in the AEM Asset Insights feature - Asset Insights

I see there are some configuration steps that involve code on a website, and that makes sense to me. However, the link above indicate there is tracking of asset usage in emails as well. What are the mechanics of configuring that? Is it available with Adobe Campaign Classic, or just Standard?

Thanks, but I don't see any information for using it with Campaign. Am I missing something?

We got confirmation on this docs are wrong and this is not supported.

This use-case is not supported in the product OOTB. Documentation team will update the information.
