You can use any API tool as long as it can authenticate with your Workfront environment (you can set up API key to use in your Workfront).  You could then use the API Explorer to find the endpoints, parameters, and actions for your API call (https://developer.adobe.com/workfront/api-explorer/)

Tracy, There isn't a native way in Workfront to create xml data.  If you have Fusion there is an xml module that can be used to create XML data where you could map the fields from projects that you need into an XML structure to have it be created...sorry not better news.

Michelle, You can't get to that info via a calculated field, however, on a project report you should be able to search in the column for Owner->Other Groups and that will provide you the other groups the owner is in.  Once found, if you put that field in textmode it looks like below:   viewalias=own...

Kristen, I use dummy/test accounts as well. I did have to get those accounts set up in adminconsole once we moved and assure they had access to our Workfront like any other user account...I'm sure you've done this but just in case...make sure those are also in the adminconsole.

Edwin, Layouts are always a challenge depending on the company.  Here's Adobe guidance, its really good advice, Best Practice - Layout templates | Adobe Workfront; I'm in the process of reducing our layouts as there was sprawl due to groups wanting/needing different things which never came to pass.
