Not an answer -- but one of our long 'pet peeves' is that a request queue can't be instructed to create a TASK vs Issue. This would help in many ways - especially to help leverage the new'ish Work Balancer. I understand that functionality would require fusion - but upper management doesn't agree ...

In NWE when a new story, task, issue etc etc is created you display a nice informative toast display. You should include the link to the newly created item

Just curious - does your profile have a template assigned? it might be hiding the option alt option as I have been seeing strange things with Chrome of late - try viewing in incognito mode

so you are seeing the option on the admin screen in setup screen? When I opened preview today to start testing with a new group to onboard to NWE - I land in Classic and no menu option to select which experience - unless its moved

Just seeing if its my instance only - or did I miss a memo :-) but Preview lacks the ability to switch to NE
