We have several templates that don't have any tasks but are used to help setup the Queue Setup. I would LOVE this ability. However, it would need to be an option as that could get messy if you had templates with tasks and that messes up a current project.

I like this idea but only if it is at the person level. Like the option "Send work I assign to myself to my Working On tab" is in Preferences. There are some groups that like to see the request first in case they need to forward it to someone else.

And if the bulk remove could be incorporated that would be great. It sucks when a project is cancelled and you were assigned several tasks and have to click the blue Remove button on all of them.

Just to add to this. If Product is thinking about the custom statuses that are on the group level, this doesn't work for us because we have some shared services teams that cross multiple groups. Thanks.

I don't know how I feel about the current user being auto-assigned as anyone can add to our backlog so that person might not be the person doing the task. However, I love the idea of assigning something to a specific team member when creating a new story if you know they are going to work on it.
