  • That's how the model project was set up. I looked at the template. It looks like the recurring tasks covert to just a regular parent/child when that is saved as a template. They got constraint dates of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20. So when I made one for the following month 0 converted to April 1, a Monday the ...

  • I'm setting up a template to cover a group of tasks that are performed every month. Tasks A, B, C, ... Task B is "Do X every Friday." What is the best solution for configuring this in a template? Recurring task didn't work. It set up a recurring task but in the next month the due dates were on Monda...

Create an option in settings or queue settings to populate a project sponsor with the primary contact of the converted issue. At the moment, we have to check the primary contact on the issue before converting and then enter the sponsor manually.

  • Thanks. It's at least good to know that the reason I can't solve it is that it isn't solvable. I'll work up a second-best solution and people will just have to muddle through that a bit. Brian McKinley

  • I'm trying to create a report of projects that contain a particular type of task, but did not originate as a request to a specific queue. The reason is to archive items that are missed because the requests didn't follow the standard process. Example: Currently a report of issues and matching proje...

  • I just realized yesterday that it's kind of an annoying bottleneck to have to manually convert an issue to the matching project type. I'm going to submit an idea and see if it gets any traction.

It would save a lot of manual work if the ability to automatically convert to a project was an available routing option.

  • Is there any way to insert the resource planner or scheduling info from the People tab into a dashboard. We currently have an intake dashboard with five homebrewed charts about quantity of projects assigned to users. I'd like to transition to using the resource planning tools. It'd be great is we co...

That custom column will get the job done, but when you 7,604 projects to search it gets a little tedious. I tried all kinds of text mode filters, and it seems like some of the text mode modifiers do not work. In returns only the items with the form, but notin does not return the inverse.

  • I need to find issues or projects that don't have a certain custom form. If I do a report with the filter Categories ID not equal My Custom Form, my results still contain objects that have that form attached. Example: objectCategoriesMM:ID=5a95812f0262baeae1be63f1fdf5f8d7 objectCategoriesMM:ID_Mod=n...
