    I agree, what would be even better is if there was an area dedicated to "extra info" and you could bring in whatever data you wanted to in regards to the report. Like report.name / number of tasks/issues from report etc.

    To work around this we upload the document, then just paste a link to the document in the relevant issue/task to talk about the document. We tend to not use document comments for the reason you've described.
