Stop truncating email notifications for notes in Tasks/Issues

Right now emails are truncated if an update (note) on an issue/task is greater than 10 lines OR 796 characters.

On top of that the (...) indicator that tells you there's more of a message left is WAY too small if you could fix that it would help tremendously as a stop gap for this problem.

Our clients work 100% over email and if one of our employees sends an update with too many characters our clients miss the email and are left confused. This is a negative experience and there's no reason workfront shouldn't just leave all of the text intact in the email notification. Who cares if there's a lot of text there, our employees decided it was necessary to write out that long of a note I don't think that's something workfront should decide.

There is NO need to truncate announcements and force folks into a click - through stream. It's 2017 and this approach is dated. Further, the links in announcements need to be fixed. I now have to rely on multiple sets of tools to perform what should be a simple exercise of sending out an announcement with a link to a document, project, task, etc.

Derek's idea makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, the bar set by Workfront that requires 45 votes will ensure this idea never sees the light of day. This needs to be addressed as a fundamental capability for any system.

In addition to Derek's suggestion, the Announcement form does not support adaptable framing (headers, logos, backgrounds). Nor does the Announcement allow Admins to build pre-defined templates for classifying announcements. The editor is sub-optimal and should allow for wysiwyg editing in HTML (again, this has been around for many years).

Final addendum:

The Announcement should be available anywhere in the system as an object that inherits the "SHARING" permissions when accessed from a project, an issue, or even a task. Only Admins can send out to "everyone". Enabling this kind of adaptable behavior is an expectation that is part of many solid architectures in Saas based solutions.

I believe this is now fixed with the latest update of workfront. They did reduce the size but to me it's way more important for the entire note to make it into the email.

I still disagree to the size limit but that idea is here https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115007072208-Character-Limit-in-Updates
