Great idea, we've debating on making a Notes report for reading updates from projects instead of using the updates tab built into workfront. I'm guessing that would work better for your team (I haven't tried it yet though so I"m not sure :S )
I believe this is now fixed with the latest update of workfront. They did reduce the size but to me it's way more important for the entire note to make it into the email. I understand this isn't easy due to custom request queues etc., but it would be awesome if you could type /wf requests in slack and it'd give you the list of requests queues you have available.
