Hi Jennifer! Great question and a very important one if you want to be successful. This is a Report Report. No that's not a typo. This is a report that is listing the reports in your system. And to make one you want to go to Reports > New Report > More > SCROLL DOWN to Report  

I was thinking this route as well, but instead of using the PROJ object code, try the project user (PRTU) object code; however that would assume the user is only listed on that task and no where else.   Throwing spaghetti on the wall... What about assignmentsListString instead of assignedToID?

In addition to the project count by user chart you might want a KPI metric (also an option in Canvas Dashboards) to flat out say the number of unique projects this team has assignments within.
