I made the change and that didn't fix it. I looked at only first time visits to the site for the last hour and I am still getting search engines saved into Referring Domains. The only search engines making it into the "Organic" channel are those where the referrer is a search engine and also has old-style formatted query strings.

I will change my rule to look at Natural Search Detection instead and see if that fixes it. But it does seem odd that this wouldn't catch the referring domains like 'www.google.com' prior to the referring domains rule. I actually just looked at the "Traffic Sources" reports in SiteCatalyst. We never use them since we have been using Unified Sources Vista Rules for years. The "Natural Search" within the traffic sources reports are seriously underreporting as well and look to closely mimic what we...

Marketing Channels Natural Search (Organic) is underreporting

I am attempting to set up our Marketing Channel definitions and am not getting the Organic channel to populate. I was looking for 'campaign code is not set' AND search engine exists. This rule was prior to the rule to catch any remaining traffic with a referring domain into "referring domain'. From looking at our clickstream data it seems that the only traffic making into the Organic channel are those with the old-style referrers that include query string parameters like "https://www.google.com/...

AAM Destinations - can they be decoupled from loading AAM on client
Avatar

We load AAM via Launch. AAM is loaded at the same time that the Analytics core is loaded and we are using server side forwarding. Our IT department is asking if we can delay the destinations being sent to AAM until later on the page. It that possible? Is it possible to still load AAM at the time that the Analytics core is loaded, but to delay the destinations being sent?

In data feeds, the "page" is called "pagename" so you probably want to use post_pagename. I don't know why you have a field named "date". The field in our datafeeds is "date_time" and it is set to the same date_time that our reportsuite is set to. So we pull date(date_time) as dt when we need to group data by the same 'day' that we see in SiteCatalyst. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/export/analytics-data-feed/data-feed-contents/datafeeds-calculate.html?lang=en#page-views

How can I classify the data element of '0'

I have loaded a classification file with a zero for a key and it appears to update the data, but when I try to actually look at the classification, that data shows as "Unspecified". When I pull down classified data, it doesn't show in the list. When I show unclassified data, it also does not show in the list. All other values that I have classified appear to work just fine. How can I classify this data?

I will look into this, but I want this to only run when a direct call rule fires and not for any other beacon call that we have running based on events or other triggers.

Thanks Brandon, I will see if I can determine how to make this work. I would not want it to fire after any of the other beacon calls we have, only those that send to analytics from our direct call rules. Is it possible to have several rules that fire from the same direct call rule?

How do we trigger rule for ANY direct call rule

We use a different direct call rule for different types of 'pages' on our single page app that send data to Analytics. I have a pixel rule that I want to fire after any direct call rule fires. Does anybody know how this can be accomplished?
