How do we do a synchID call in WebSDK for AAM

We have moved from App Measurement to WebSDK.  When we were using the Application Measurement Code  we had a synch call within Launch when the user logged into our site and we set that value to the eVar where we capture the hashed loyalty id.  

 

I am not finding documentation on how to do a synch call or what to configure in AAM to get a synch call working.
