XML Editor Performance Slow-Down - Experience Manager Guides 12-08-2022
Is anyone else having performance issues with the web-based XML Editor? After several hours of work, the editor is now timing out and is reacting too slow to use. Is there a setting somewhere in Edge that I'm missing?

Re: XML Editor Unable to Validate XML Error - Experience Manager Guides 13-07-2022
I just confirmed that any time you copy/paste or drag/drop/move an element within a topic, a new GUID is assigned. This breaks any conref using that GUID as a source. This isn't by design, is it? A GUID/UUID assigned to a phrase or other element needs to remain as is, regardless of its position within the topic, even if it isn't used as a conref source. Once the UUID or other ID is assigned, the system should not be changing it.

XML Editor Unable to Validate XML Error - Experience Manager Guides 13-07-2022
I'm getting an Unable to Validate XML error from the XML Editor, but I can't figure out what the problem is. I'm moving content from out of a table cell and as far as I can tell from the source view, I have not violated DITA. Specifically, the error is happening when I'm moving a out of a table cell. I'm getting the error whether the is placed within a or if it is placed outside a element. Has anyone else seen issues when moving content out of a table?

Importing Files into AEM Guides - No Option to Skip - Experience Manager Guides 13-07-2022
When dragging and dropping new files into AEM Guides, there is an option to create a new version of an existing file, an option to replace the file, and an option to cancel, but not an option to skip replacing that particular file. Is that going to be added? Or does the cancel option mean just to cancel that particular file and not the entire import batch?

Oxygen and UUID AEM Guides -- Displaying Title Instead of Name - Experience Manager Guides 23-06-2022
Is anyone using Oxygen as the editor with the UUID version of AEM Guides? I used the Oxygen 30-day trial to test things out and I noticed that Oxygen displayed the file name, not the file title. Since the file name is the GUID/UUID, this is not helpful or usable. Does anyone know if this is a configuration issue? Can I configure something in AEM Guides or Oxygen to display the file title in the map/editor instead of the file name? (Unfortunately, my 30-day trial is over and I don't want to purch...

Re: Selecting content by clicking on the opening element tag in XML Editor - Experience Manager Guides 23-06-2022
Yes, I was trying to drag/drop a from within a table. It works just fine outside the table, but does not work inside the table. Since AEM Guides doesn't allow tables nested within tables, I was trying to move my nested table outside the primary table so I could delete it.

Selecting content by clicking on the opening element tag in XML Editor - Experience Manager Guides 23-06-2022
Within the XML Editor, why can’t I drag/drop by element? (Paragraph, table, etc). We need to be able to edit content by moving around element tags, such as selecting the opening paragraph tag and dragging it to a new location within the topic. Right now, you can’t really select by clicking on the element tag, which makes moving content a lot harder than it needs to be.

Re: Map Keys and Key Reference Links - Experience Manager Guides 23-06-2022
Yes, a menu option to add the key to the map would be nice. In XMetaL, when editing the map, you select a topic, click Properties within the map editor, and you can add the Key in a field. If you can have a similar option within the map editor for Guides, that would be great. It looks like most of the menu options when editing a map remain the same as when editing a topic, which implies these options will work when they do not.
