Direct Call Rules Not Working With IOS Based Browsers

Background:We wanted to track form submits on our site via a direct call, since CSS selectors only track on click, whereas a direct call will track successes. We asked our development team to send a direct call rule to _satellite.track, confirming that the form submit was successful.Issue:The direct call rules works with most browsers, but will not capture the rule with any IOS based browsers. We found this by tying the adobe data to our database the form submit info was being to, and saw that t...

Arun,Thank you for the answer! One more question. Could it be possible that any of our direct call rules would be causing this as well? The reason I'm asking, is because I'm finding a correlation with the number of direct call rules firing and an increase in these visits without page views.Eric

Issue:I'm finding that when pulling a Data Warehouse report using the Page Dimension (w/ visit and page view as metrics), that there are blanks under the page dimension column that show visits but no page viewsResearch:I went back into Workspace to confirm that my total visits were not affected by the blank pages that had visits and no page views. I found that Workspace was not counting these visits in aggregate reporting, or reporting any of the blank page dimension visits in the detail view.We...

What I Am Trying To Accomplish:I am trying to find a way where I can create a segment that in theory counts the amount of times a user navigates from one page to another, and then produce a report that shows how many times this event and/or navigation sequence occurred globallyWhere I Am Having Trouble:Creating a metric that shows how many times this event occurred, as opposed to how many visits succeeded in this navigation sequence. I'm finding that this segment is only capturing if someone suc...

Last Touch Channel And Tracking Code Report
Avatar

The Issue :When running a last touch channel table in Workspace, then breaking down one of those channels by tracking code we are finding that we get the dreaded "none" value, and tracking codes from other non related channels. For instance we may find Email tracking codes under the Paid Search channel. My understanding that the expiration on Last Touch Channels is 30 days. If we had our tracking code eVar match the 30 day expiration would we start getting more consistent reporting between last ...

Yes we used the adobeanalytics_nativeConfig. Our first question how to classify this channel wise. Should we classify this under the last touch marketing channels, or use a segment? And if we use a segment should we use the entry page dimension for the segment? Also is there a way to get last touch channel information from AMP pages or is this a no go? And lastly are there any known issues with tracking on mobile safari browsers otherwise outlined in the Adobe tutorial?

With AMP page tracking has come many problems for us. First is the idea of how to track this channel. We came to the conclusion we would include it in the last touch channels, by page, for anything that contains "amp".Our pressing IssueWe are finding that are some tracking issues specifically with safari. When comparing visits to sessions in GA (since we have our site tagged in GA as well) we are finding that AA shows visits & page views 5X greater than sessions specifically for Safari. We are w...
