  • I totally agree with this one.  A forum may serve this function since you are able to perform searches on topics.  We do have the Google Insight forum but not all Insight users are members and we don't have a good way to get the word out to all users to join it.  Moving over to Omniture's forum migh...

  • I've been using Insight for years so most of my workspace folders have hundreds of workspaces I've saved over time.  Frequently I will add a new workspace saved with a certain name and then be unable to remember the name the next day I am looking for it.  It would be wonderful if I could simply sort...

  • I searched Sidebar and there is nothing there that specifies (that I see).  I switched to Query Confidence and then tested changing profiles and also exiting.  In both situations it loads defaulting to Query Completion for me. It feels like Omniture defaulted to Query Completion in the release. I am...

  • Details Table is my favorite Insight feature.  Currently there is no control of the sort order in a Details Table.   It would be great if Details Table had the ability to sort the same way as a regular table.  For example, a common sort order I would use is on Hour on the Sessions level and then by ...

  • This would save time avoiding menus if metrics and dimensions could be easily rearranged and positioned via drag & drop.  This should apply to Tables as well as Graphs.  It would be a great useability enhancement.

  • I realize this may be tough to do but it’s even tougher for Administrators to know the best combination of settings for Update Interval, Maximum Slice Size, Result Memory Limit, etc.  There is no training available for this.  It would help to provide some sort of automation to help determine the opt...

  • I often need 2D process maps for different dimensions.  I have created a library of different dimension process maps by manually editing the VW file in Notepad for the dimension and then making it available under a Visualization menu.  This is fine for someone with Administrator access but not a goo...

  • This is a particular peeve of mine since we use 2D Process Maps extensively.  Stop dimming the nodes, lines and quantities/percentages between nodes when the values are small.  That is a very irritating and useless feature since the you already have a visual of volume based on size of node.  At a mi...

  • They are called 2D Graphs since you have to select two dimensions but I'm talking about the 3D Graphs in Insight.  I've been using the product since early 2003 and in that time there have never been any improvements to 2D Graphs.  There needs to be a way to apply many of the same features found in T...

  • Wow, that is a pretty good idea.  Parent level of dimension has always been confusing to most users when selecting queries; usually leading to misinterpretation of results.  A visual clue probably would be very helpful and would make users more conscious of the parent level and it's meaning.
