They are called 2D Graphs since you have to select two dimensions but I'm talking about the 3D Graphs in Insight.  I've been using the product since early 2003 and in that time there have never been any improvements to 2D Graphs.  There needs to be a way to apply many of the same features found in Table.  These include...

  • enable sorting and masking of data elements for both dimension axes
  • swapping of axis dimensions
  • ability to easily change the metric

Great suggestion Craig.  Our analysts use these graphs extensively but find options very limiting.  They typically end up exporting the data into excel which provides them with greater flexibilty regarding display options/features, data inclusion/exclusion, etc.
