Projected dates is helpful to see how things are really tracking along, a better sense of reality I suppose. Planned dates is good to see what we originally had in mind and allows you to view allocation. In order to change between the two, you have to go into the settings and switch the toggle.

It would be great to view Projects on a Calendar, not just tasks. It could be set up/ filtered by program or portfolio and/or owner. Our PM's would really like to have this high level view of their projects.
It would be awesome to see my team's time off in a calendar. Right now, I have to go into their individual time off tabs on their profiles, which is just a lot of clicks.
One of our PM's shared this idea with me, here's his idea:
When a customer submits a request, the system estimates the time required for the work, evaluates existing schedule, and delivers an estimated/projected completion date.
Customers can select any date on the planned completion date field. It would be great if we could apply constraints such as but not limited to:
no dates in the pastno weekendsno holidaysno tomorrow/next day
The time portion is causing issues for us, it'd be nice to have global setting to turn it off. I have an idea submitted in the project category for this too, vote here: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115003762734-Disable-Time-Portion-of-due-dates-Projects-and-Tasks-
We don't worry about the time of due dates. We've always looked at end of the day as the deadline. Yes, sometimes we have to stay late to get it done on time. Now we have Workfront (in our 4th month) and the planned completion date has a time portion, which has cause some issues for us.

Having the time portion on tasks and projects is too granular for us. We focus on "end of business day" as the deadline, of the date requested. It'd be nice to have the ability to globally disable the time portion of tasks and projects.
