Quick question regarding Wait activity. I asked the AI Assistant but got somewhat conflicting answers.
When there is a 3 day Wait activity after an In-app Message action, does the 3 day wait start immediately when the visitor reaches the In-app Message Action step of the Journey or does the wait time only start after the visitor actually triggers the In-app message to be seen? In the example attached, if a visitor get’s to the In-app message activity step of the Journey but never triggers the message, will the Journey end for that profile after 3 days if the visitor never meets the trigger conditions?
If the Wait activity is removed altogether, does the Journey end immediately after the visitor reaches the In-app message step or only after triggering the in-app message to display?
My assumption here is that the 3-day Wait timer starts upon reaching the In-app message activity step in the Journey and gives the visitor 3 days to trigger the message before the Journey ends. If someone could confirm/explain would be great. Thanks!

Hello @ttrinh ,
1. The 3-day Wait activity begins immediately when the profile reaches the In-app Message action step in the Journey, not when the user actually triggers or views the in-app message.
2. Yes, If a visitor reaches the In-app Message activity but never triggers the message to display then the journey will end for that profile after the 3-day wait period.
3. If you remove the Wait activity after the In-app Message, the journey ends immediately after the profile reaches the In-app Message activity, regardless of whether the in-app message was actually displayed or triggered.

Hi! so, if the the app shows the in app after 1 day, the journey for that person will continue automatically to next node or will continue after reaching the 3rd day of the wait activity?
