Using AJO web channel with non AEM sites

Hi All,

I am trying to follow the example for creating web channel experience
https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/journey-optimizer/using/web/create-web.html?lang=en
Tutorial talks about making changes in the web content using editor. And adding personalization to web page.

I am able to make  these changes on my web page if they are authored in AEM and WebSDK is enabled.

But I also want to personalize the pages that are not authored in AEM (say in unbounce). I can make changes in the web channel in AJO Journey or campaign but upon saving the campaign i dont see the changes on the page.

Do I need to add some code to my web page to use this personalization/changes done in campaign?

I am unable to find any documentation for integration of AJO and nonAEM sites.

Will be helpful if you can help me and/or direct me to some documentation.

thanks in advance.

@mohitkhare123 have you copied the script in the header section of the website?

@mohitkhare123

The implementation of web SDK is the same for non-AEM websites as well.

Follow the tutorial https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/implement-web-sdk/overview

Hi @Anuhya-Y,

Thanks for the reply.

Tried those steps already and I am able to se the the site being edited in the AJO campaign editor. but upon publishing I dont see any change or personalization when I land on to the website.

I was wondering do we need to add any line of code in the nonAEM website so that it connects with Adobe cloud.

Thanks for your help

Hi @Anuhya-Y,

Thanks for the quick reply.

I think it did work after pasting the code in the header of the page and re hosting it.

Thanks a Lot it really helped.

Correct, one needs to paste the script where the website is hosted.

There are multiple ways to install websdk https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/edge/fundamentals/installing-the-sdk

the script screenshot I shared is from AEP data collection tag manager.
