Can you set permissions for specific Adobe Profiles to only be used with specific channel surfaces?

We have specific DO NOT MAIL audiences that we have created AJO segments for that need to be added in AJO audience builder to ensure that they are excluded from receiving specific types of marketing emails.  Even with QA processes and checklists, and Peer Review, mistakes can/do happen and wondering if there is ability to support with some system level intervention.

I know there is a masters suppression list, however I need them to be able to receive transactional emails. They may need to receive certain updates, just no sales related materials.

Is it possible to set assign permissions for profiles to only be used by specific channel surfaces?    Other technical solutions?   Label to allow export only on transactional channel surfaces?

hi @Caveman77 in the case of transactional email - in your email preset configuration you can choose the type "marketing" or "transactional". When creating a message in a Journey or within AJO Campaigns, if you choose the Transactional preset configuration, it will ensure that messages are not blocked by fatigue rules or marketing consent checks.  - This works very well for API triggered Campaigns and Event Journeys. If you are pulling in an audience, you do need to be sure that you haven't filtered out profiles that need transactional communication.

@Caveman77 Only thing I can think of you can try setting up custom consent policies to leverage the channel configurations marketing action to control activating to the DO NOT MAIL audiences/profiles.

Thanks, Sathees
