How can I avoid that "caption" is visible on screen - as a hint to fill the text field - and is not printed. The textfield should be visible and has to be printed.

Hi,

On pre-print event of the textfield add the script below -

this.resolveNode("caption.value.#text").value = "";

This will make ur caption blank when u print the form.
