Adobe Experience Manager

We are looking to utilize the headless Adaptive form to display the form on an external React SPA. As i understand JSON representation of the form is targeted at /content so it includes the validations, patterns, field limits etc that we configure at component level and that stay under the /content node. But in case of complex requirements, where i need to write my own JS functions, this wont work as client libs will never be sent back through the API. Are there any alternatives to do this ? how flexible is the rule editor in handling a little to medium complex validations. Example, an API call that needs to be made on field select, SSN masking, Prevent future date from being picked etc.

I am trying to create configuraion to purge workflows which are older than 100 days for AEM as clouds service.Documentation -https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/operations/maintenance Above link says to create a node under /conf where as the link below asks you to create node under /apps for maintenance window.Sample configuration - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-cloud-kcs/kbarticles/ka-25921#environment  I'm trying to determine the correct way to create a maintenance window. I used the sample configuration and it worked, but after reviewing the documentation for second time, I realized that the maintenance window is supposed to be created under /conf. So what is correct place to keep this configuration?

Default checked state is not appearing for coral checkboxes"granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/checkbox"but it's working fine for granite foundation one. i.e. granite/ui/components/foundation/form/checkbox. I've tried many ways (e.g. checked (string) property setting as true, defaultChecked / uncheckedValue etc.) but nothing is working. One thing noticed that, "checked" property has type  ' booleanel ' while in JCR, only boolean is available;not the expression lang type. So,is it causing any issue?  Any pointers on this will be really helpful.

So, I have a scenario, We’ve more than 5000+ pdf and XDP to convert.we’re running on AEM on prem LTS.  Has anyone here done something similar? As this is going to be a lot of configurations, implementations and then migration. I need some guidance on how to achieve it. I am closely following documentation and seems like it should be easier process after the right configuration. Configure the Automated Forms Conversion service (AFCS) | Adobe Experience Manager I appreciate the help or any more documentation, if we have it. I have search on AEM forums but, didn’t find anything yet.

Hi, I am trying to learn more about AEM Assets Power users. How should we define and manage AEM Assets Power User roles, permissions, and enablement (bulk edits, custom workflows, rendition controls) to maximize productivity while preventing governance drift, security risks, and performance bottlenecks?Do we mandatorily require this license seats since most of day to day operation is covered in basic user license?

Is there a way i can make an API call with file uploaded through attachment component ? As soon as the file is selected, i would like to trigger JS from my client libs to make an API call. Seems as per the design, the attachment ( which is unscanned for any potential malware) is uploaded into AEM. Is there a workaround ?Thanks,Abhishek

Hi,We are using asset share commons in our project. So the property field in sort component is not getting populated. According to the document attached values are populated only when orderable=true is added in the index for the required properties. In our index it is ordered=true and it’s working in dev and local. Somehow for prod and stage its not working as expected. Same index is used in all the environment. How to check where the issue is and what is causing this issue?dev:  Stage: Thank you.

Hi Community,  I have questions for the adaptive form,  We have use case where we need to add the pagination for the adaptive form, is there any way we can achieve this? I haven’t seen such a business need in my previous role.  As adaptive forms consider as SPA it’s very uncommon, Also, can we bind the logic on adaptive form to achieve exact analytics data?  Best, Pathik

Hi Team, We have implemented dynamic media for our project and we have a requirement to publish the asset to dynamic media.We have 1000’s of images to move. What approach we can use here.Selecting the asset and running the workflow for each asset will be very tedious task

aem as cloud response.sendRedirect not working for query parameters with 4000 characters length and getting with 502 error response and no logs for exception's in AEM as cloud publisher where as in AEM On-premise there is no issue.This issue was identified after migrating to AEM as cloud, below is code which was used.slingHttpServletRequest .setStatus(302);slingHttpServletRequest .sendRedirect(azureRegistrationUrl); Kindly share your suggestion's / comments on this.

Hello, I have been working on a XFA Form I created using AEM Form Designer. The form is used to intake customers who come to our service center for computer repairs. It has 2 pages the first is for the customer and the second is for the technician and has the computer info, ticket number, and customer info that was inputted on first page. The customer can drop off up to 5 different computers per form. I originally built out a script using AcroForms which allowed me to print the customer page once and the technician page for the # of computers inputted on the form based on serial numbers with their respective fields being Serial1 through Serial5. The code below added the last page multiple times depending on if their were multiple serial numbers on the intake forms. This worked as intended without issues. Hello!I’ve hit a brick wall with something and hoping someone can help.I have a component that has a drag and drop container. The container’s resource super type is core/wcm/components/container/v1/containerI want to restrict the components that can be dragged onto this container to a sub set of those allowed on the page, but can’t find a way to do that. Note: This component is not fixed to a template. It is optional on the page and is itself dragged onto a page container at author time.Given it is not part of the template, I can’t use the template editor to set a policy to restrict components (that I can see). Essentially I’m stuck will allowing the set of components defined at page template level.Is there a way to achieve this in Touch UI projects?I recall this was easy in Classic UI projects, but not so much with Touch UI and editable templates.Any help would be appreciated (Generative AI is no help - constantly hallucinating)
