I'm currently displaying previously recoreded sessions via PlaybackAuthenticator, but it takes too long for application to start the playback. The size of records are between 30MB and 90MB. I think my client starts after downloading all the data from the server.
I think I'm doing something wrong, but couldn't figure out.
Could you be more specific on "takes too long?" If playback eventually starts then I doubt you are doing anything wrong.
The only "wrong" thing I could see is your WebDAV server. The question would be how quickly LCCS service can download the recording file from your server.
Perhaps you could take some measurements on that front or compare some log timestamps to estimate that time.
Hope this helps,
You're right. To be more specific, it takes like 10-15 minutes for my UI to appear.
Say there's not much that we can do about speeding up uploading speed of our server. Is there any other way to handle large sessions?
I have some additional questions.
1- We host our records in a datacenter located in Turkey, which doesn't have any limit on bandwidth. I've requested the access logs, but do you think it's possible that the loading time for a 60MB record to be 15 minutes?
2- Is there any way to do what LCCS servers do in our server? This way maybe we could speed the downloading.
Now funny thing is that, a friend of me which is located in LA, is able to download a 60M ZIP file from our WebDAV server in 60 seconds. But he experiences tens of minutes of loading time in my application.
Can I get this as no problem of uploading speed at our end? Or is there something else?
