PDFgen and CALS Raster file format

Hi,

I was asked if PDF Generator can handle .CAL (CALS Raster file format) files. I know we can't handle it natively so I looked into the "Adding new document types to Adobe® LiveCycle® PDF Generator" documentation.

I am not sure if CALS is a native or a non-native file format . OpenText has a 'viewer' with which I can view the CAL files at http://www.opentext.com/2/global/sol-products/open_text_content_viewer_solutions/sol-pro-open-text-d.... Would I be able to leverage that tool and define CAL as a new file type in PDFgen?

Hi Waldo!

Never did it myself - cause it seems to be quite some work - but the idea is using appMonitor to remote control an application and starting a print request.
