Thanks! Updating the property will be a requirement in this workflow
cause the user will trigger different actions in the customer livecycle
and the workflow has to be started again then. In fact the property set
to a new value will be the indicator so the workflow would have to take
care of checking if the node has just changed and stop or if the change
was the result of the servlet action and run it again.
Thanks - summarizing it may be a little bit too complex thing to have
two workflows. I think the idea to have a servlet that gets triggered
from the publish instance and just kicks off a workflow would be the
most straightforward approach. By the way what I had in mind is a
scenario where a user should be serviced in different ways i.e. when
opening an account, when requesting materials or subscribing to content.
The idea is that this is monitored and that the service staff of a
company is able ...
On docs.adobe.com there is a forms based workflow sample
would have one to do if the workflow gets kicked on the Publish
instance, will then continue on the Author environment and update the
page finally on the publish instance.
Hi Waldo!Never did it myself - cause it seems to be quite some work -
but the idea is using appMonitor to remote control an application and
starting a print request. Thus a tool which is able to print a file
format and can be controlled by appMon should be a perfect candidate.

Hi!I know this. This was not my question: I need to understand how
PDFGen / Assembler do determine the content type. I do not know what it
really does in the background i.e. going for the extension or the
mimetype or both or is ther more behind the scenes? Can somebody answer
this question or do we have to go back to engineering on this?
Hello! Can somebody share some insight how we do determine the
contentType of a document variable. Where does this info come
from?Additionally with ES2 Lc PDF Gen can now determine the document
type. Is the service using the same method? And if I use Assembler to
pass in a list of office documents as a source how does it work here? To
my impression it seems to take the file extension only cause I could
fool it by renaming a spreadsheet to excel.doc and it got
I logged of from my machine and logged on again. Then the Workbench
started. Can somebody share the info which port I should be looking at
(2038?) and which applications - next to LcDS - may use this too?
Jayan not sure have a look at my workbench.log. It took very long until
the workbench came up but I am not able to logon to a server. What port
might cause the issue. What does the Workbench do even before I logon to
