Is Adobe Launch just a rebrand of Adobe DTM?

I use marketing tools outside of Adobe's Experience Cloud suite. How will they connect with Adobe Launch?

I am looking for a specific functionality to be built into an extension. Will the Launch team include an extension that has that feature?
