Hi giri3072 -To see visits to your site, you can put visits as your metric and then put month (or day or year or quarter or hour, etc.) as the dimension. Thanks -Sarah

Re: Adobe Bot Report SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi stavares@esri -In Adobe's Bot help article - Bot Rules - it states that bot rules "remove traffic that is generated by known spiders and bots from your report suite" Given this statement, there is not any Bot data to assign to an eVar or prop. That raises the question of how is there data for the Bots Reports. The article goes on to say that the data shown in the Bots reports "is stored in a separate repository for display in the Bots and Bot Pages reports." Thanks -Sarah

Re: search keyword report SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi -Any of the reports under Traffic Sources that have "Keywords" in the title (i.e. Search Keywords - All, Search Keywords - Paid, and Search Keywords - Natural) will have "Keyword Unavailable" as the first result. This is because most searches are secure searches these days and they do not allow for the search term to be available. Here's an article about secured searches not providing search terms Search: Not Provided: What Remains, Keyword Data OptionsHave a good day -Sarah

Hi jayakrishnaap53766400 -Arun has provided good feedback in the comments above In addition to the feedback Arun has given, I'd re-order your Marketing Channel Rules.so that Direct, Internal, and Referring Domains are at the very bottom. Brent Dykes has a fabulous article that lists out his recommendations on the order of Marketing Channel Rules --> https://theblog.adobe.com/refresher-on-adobe-analytics-mktg-channels-reports-part-iii/ You can easily move the Marketing Channel rules by clicking ...

Re: Adobe target offers component wise SarahEOwen - Adobe Target
Hi Ketan -In this article - Switching Experiences in Experience Targeting - it states "Priority is controlled by the order of experiences, top to bottom. If a visitor qualifies for more than two audiences, he or she receives content from the higher priority experience." This would explain why only one of the two experiences is being shown when the visitors qualifies for both. Reading Siddharth's answer, he is suggesting making two Experience Targeting tests. One of the Experience Targeting tests...

Re: Add Paid/Natural Search to Marketing Channel Report? SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi @jayakrishnaap53766400 -1) Thanks for confirming that the Paid Search Detection Rule is the 1st Marketing Channel Rule. 2) Thanks for the info about how umedium is being used! Given that umedium is being used for more than just paid search, please do not add it to the Paid Search Detection logic at this time. So for now, let's leave your Paid Search Detection as what you shared earlier (the screen shot below is what you shared earlier -- let's stay with this logic)3) Okay, the report being us...

Re: Add Paid/Natural Search to Marketing Channel Report? SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi @jayakrishnaap53766400 - I thought of one more question for you So here were the two questions from earlier:1) Is the "Matches Paid Search Detection Rules" the 1st row in your Marketing Channels?2) Is umedium only used for Paid Search or is it used for other types of campaigns (i.e. banner ads, social media posts, etc.)?And here is the addition question:3) You said -- "However, we see still the data shows "unspecified" on the report" -- what report are you referring too (aka what dimension an...

Hi @jayakrishnaap53766400 - A couple questions:1) Is the "Matches Paid Search Detection Rules" the 1st row in your Marketing Channels?2) Is umedium only used for Paid Search or is it used for other types of campaigns (i.e. banner ads, social media posts, etc.)?Hi @hyderziaee -If only the query parameter is placed in the Paid Search Detection rule, then how would the rule be able to differentiate between paid search and say a banner ad when the same query parameter is used on both but specific va...

Re: Custom conversion tracking on a redirect A/B test SarahEOwen - Adobe Target
Hi -Glad you are able to usually use the benefits of A4T To set-up Target-metrics, you will want to use the Rules in DTM.Here's an example of setting up an mbox on a page to use as a Target-metric. Steps #1 - 6 will create an mbox on the page you are interested in. Steps #7-13 will use the mbox you just made in steps #1-6 as the Target-metric.1. In DTM, open a Page Load Rule2. Give it a name like "Target - Order Confirmation Page" 3. In the Conditions portion of the rule, put in the code that de...

Re: Custom conversion tracking on a redirect A/B test SarahEOwen - Adobe Target
Hi Peter -Would you mind if I asked why you don't want to use Analytics as the metrics? My absolute favorite is to use Analytics as the metrics because then I have every single data point captured in Adobe Analytics available and I don't have to do any additional set-up (i.e. setting up custom conversion goals). Thanks -Sarah

Re: Evar, prop not reflecting in to Adobe Analytics SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi Ketan -Looking at the "Elements" tab in Developers' Tools for http://www.hansacequity.com/ there are two DTM embed codes included on the page (see yellow highlighting in the screen shot below). In this article - Embed Code and Hosting Options - it says that there should only be one embed code, and that including more than one can cause conflicts. This may be part of the issue. Thanks -Sarah

HI -Thanks for including the web page that has the button you are trying to track! Looking at the web page and the screen shots in your post above, let's try modifying the Element Tag or Selector. There are ways we can go with this:Change the event type to click and leave the Element Tag or Selector field as #user_submit - OR -Leave the event type as submit and change the Element Tag or Selector field to be #user_submit_form Thanks -Sarah

Re: Adobe Analytics - Create a new dimension SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics

For example, your code would look like this --> s.prop1=location.hostname;Here is a helpful article that tells you how to get the various pieces from the URL: JavaScript Window Location And here is a visual of using location.hostname to get the domain name from a page on Adobe's webiste:Have a great day -Sarah

Re: Viewport SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi -In DTM, you will want to set up an Event Based rule.In the "Conditions" , you will want to select "enters viewport" and provide the element tag/selector that needs to enter the viewport. In this example (see screen shot below), when the attribute scrolled-to enters into the viewport and is in the viewport for 2000 milliseconds, then the rule will fire off. Thanks -Sarah

Re: javascript conditions in DTM custom code SarahEOwen - Adobe Analytics
Hi!I had the same problem! In my Direct Call Rule, I set up an s.tl() call in the Adobe Analytics section of the rule. I have eVars and props set in the the Global Variables section and I have eVars, props, and events being set in the Custom Code. Yet none of my events in the Custom Code were being included in the analytics call, even though the s.events variable was being correctly valued. This is how I fixed it1) in the Custom Code, you can set your s.event in any fashion (either with your s.ev...

Re: How do I create an Activity with a URL that auto-redirects??? SarahEOwen - Adobe Target
Hi Chris -Have you tried going to the site and putting something in your cart? This approach worked for me on a Shopping Cart Test I needed to set up. The elements that were in the Test would only show up if there was something in the cart. So, I went to our site and put some stuff in my cart. Then, when I opened Target to work on the Test, the shopping cart that I created earlier populated in the VEC so I could manipulate the elements. Thanks -Sarah

Re: Track clicks on button using DTM SarahEOwen - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi -That's great that you are seeing the rule fire off now!As for event8, I am seeing it in the analytics call that is fired off (see screen shot below)The debugging tool that I use is called "Debugger for Adobe Analytics". I like it because it puts the analytics calls in the Console tab of the Developers' Tools so you can easily spot them and scroll through them. Here is the link to this debugger in the Chrome Store Debugger for Adobe Analytics - Chrome Web Store Thanks -Sarah
