Re: Marketing Channel Instances - Incorrect Marketing Channel Categorization - Adobe Analytics 28-07-2022
Hi WesPhg - Good news, I believe the Marketing Channel Rule logic is working as you expect it to and that Paid Search is getting captured as Paid Search (not Referring Domain). My hunch is that the report in your screenshot shows the Paid Search eVars (v122, v19, v20) under Referring Domain because of eVar persistence. Traffic that is coming in as Paid Search will have a utm_source and a utm_medium in the URL. Traffic that is coming in as a Referring Domain will not have a utm_source or a utm_me...

Re: Why don't visits using entry page dimension match vis... - Adobe Analytics 25-11-2020
Hi @hansened To make sure we are on the same page (ha!), are you seeing something like this fake data? Report 1Entry PageVisitshome page501,524 Report 2PageVisitshome page615,826 If so, then the reason for the two different values is this ::Report 1 shows how many times the home page was the very first page of the visit (aka the entry page). In this fake report, the home page was the very first page of the visit for 501,524 visits.Report 2 shows how many times the home page was seen at any time ...

Re: Direct last touch channel with campaign attribution - Adobe Analytics 23-11-2020
Hello @e30powar ! 🙂 I've totally been where you are - seeing campaign values when breaking down the Direct channel by the campaign eVar. While this may make you feel a little queasy, don't worry ...it is probably going to be okay. There is a 2020 Summit Session called “Behind Every Good Report is Good Data” that talks about Marketing Channel Rules. Toward the end of this session, the presenters walk through some super common scenarios of break-downs that make it appear as if the Marketing Chann...

Re: Adobe Bot Report - Adobe Analytics 15-06-2018
Hi stavares@esri -In Adobe's Bot help article - Bot Rules - it states that bot rules "remove traffic that is generated by known spiders and bots from your report suite" Given this statement, there is not any Bot data to assign to an eVar or prop. That raises the question of how is there data for the Bots Reports. The article goes on to say that the data shown in the Bots reports "is stored in a separate repository for display in the Bots and Bot Pages reports." Thanks -Sarah

Re: search keyword report - Adobe Analytics 28-02-2018
Hi -Any of the reports under Traffic Sources that have "Keywords" in the title (i.e. Search Keywords - All, Search Keywords - Paid, and Search Keywords - Natural) will have "Keyword Unavailable" as the first result. This is because most searches are secure searches these days and they do not allow for the search term to be available. Here's an article about secured searches not providing search terms Search: Not Provided: What Remains, Keyword Data OptionsHave a good day -Sarah

Re: Typed/Bookmarked - Adobe Analytics 21-02-2018
Hi jayakrishnaap53766400 -Arun has provided good feedback in the comments above In addition to the feedback Arun has given, I'd re-order your Marketing Channel Rules.so that Direct, Internal, and Referring Domains are at the very bottom. Brent Dykes has a fabulous article that lists out his recommendations on the order of Marketing Channel Rules --> https://theblog.adobe.com/refresher-on-adobe-analytics-mktg-channels-reports-part-iii/ You can easily move the Marketing Channel rules by clicking ...
